The Atlantic Evaluation Group
Inc. has many repeat clients among federal and provincial government
departments, crown agencies and community groups. Some examples
include:
AIDS PEI
Conducted numerous evaluations of programs and projects such
as Promoting Harm Reduction in PEI Phases I and II; Reaching
Injection Drug Users in PEI; Making Sexual Orientation Visible
in Diversity and Equity Policy; and Healthy Sexuality, Healthy
Lives. Also completed a needs assessment and best practice review.
Cancer Care Nova Scotia
Pilot tested surveys, analyzed survey data, and wrote reports
for needs assessments of radiation therapists, nurses and pharmacists.
Also conducted an environmental scan to inform strategic directions
for cancer research in Nova Scotia.
Health Canada
Recently updated a Canadian inventory of education and training
resources related to abuse of older adults. Conducted numerous
evaluations of community groups funded by Health Canada such
as Community Action Programs for Children and Canada Prenatal
Nutritional Centres.
PEI-Business Development Inc.
Conducted a literature review and key informant interviews as
part of the PEI Labor Market Study. In the process of developing
a guide for labour market research.
PEI Falls Prevention Initiative
Conducted evaluations of various strategies of this community-based
project funded by Health Canada and Veterans Affairs Canada.

Women's Network of PEI
Conducted numerous evaluations of programs and projects such
as Women in Politics; Looking Beyond the Surface: an In-depth
Review of Parental Benefits; Developing Action Towards Meaningful
Employment Phase II; Legal Aid Phase III; PEI Caucus on Youth
and Sexual Health Phases I and II; and Creating Safer Communities
for Women with Disabilities.
Veterans Affairs Canada
Conducted a two-year evaluation of the Life Review Program for
Canadian Veterans for the Pacific Region and facilitated focus
groups for the Pension Review Board. Recently began a two-year
project to provide management information related to client
services delivery.
